Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) a Miniratna (Category-I) Public Sector Enterprise operating under the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India is currently seeking candidates for contract-based roles in various SAP modules and related fields.These positions are integral to key sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace, IT, Telecom, Network & Homeland Security, CBRN, and e-Governance, with all roles located in Hyderabad.
Post Details:
The available opportunities include a Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C) for an initial term of one year which may be extended up to two years depending on performance and project requirements as well as a Technical Expert on Contract (TE-C) for a six-month duration.
Eligibility Criteria:
Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C) and Technical Expert on Contract (TE-C) are primarily focused on SAP modules for projects based in Hyderabad. Candidates must possess full-time B.E./B.Tech / CMA / CA / MBA (Finance) qualifications a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognized Indian University or Institution accredited by relevant statutory authorities AICTE or UGC.
Salary:
- The consolidated monthly salary for a Project Engineer on contract (PE-C) across various roles, including FICO, PS, MM, ABAP, PM, BASIS, SD, and Hardware/Networking, is set at ₹40,000 for the first year. Should the contract be extended, the salary will increase to ₹45,000 per month in the second year.
- The consolidated monthly salary for the Technical Expert on Contract (TE-C) across all positions, including FICO, MM, PP&QM, ABAP, and SAP General, is set at ₹1,25,000. This amount is fixed for the entire duration of the six-month contract.
Age Limit:
The age limit for the position of Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C) is set at 33 years for candidates in the Unreserved (UR) category. For the Technical Expert on Contract (TE-C) role the maximum age is 60 years. Cumulative relaxations are available based on the specific category of applicants. It is important to note that only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for these positions.
Selection Process:
- The selection process consists of document verification followed by a personal interview with merit determined by several criteria.
- Qualifications contribute 20% based on the aggregate percentage of the primary qualification.
Experience is evaluated differently for various positions:
- Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C) candidates receive 15 marks for the first three years, plus 5 marks for each additional year, capped at 30 marks for Technical Expert, the initial ten years earn 15 marks, with 10 marks for each subsequent year, also capped at 30 marks. The interview carries a weight of 50 marks.
- It is important to note that experience gained from academics, internships, or projects is not considered.

- Current employees of ECIL must obtain a permission letter from their Head of Department.
