Bank of Baroda Apprentices Notification 2025!
Bank of Baroda (BOB) has issued the official announcement regarding the recruitment of 2700 Apprentice positions in accordance with the Apprentices Act of 1961. This apprenticeship program spans one year and is designed to offer practical training in banking operations throughout India. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000, and the program is available to qualified graduates. Applications are currently being accepted online, and the recruitment process is in line with the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
Vacancies:
A total of 2,700 positions are open, allocated across various states and regions according to merit and individual preferences. The state-wise distribution is outlined in the official notification. Reservations are applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD in accordance with established norms.
Educational Qualification:
A degree in any field from an accredited university. Candidates who possess over one year of relevant work experience are disqualified. No previous apprenticeship experience with BOB or any other entity is permitted.
Age Requirement:
Individuals must be between 20 and 28 years old as of November 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable in accordance with the norms set by the Government of India.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Additional relaxations for ex-servicemen and others as applicable.

Monthly Stipend:
A fixed amount of ₹15,000 will be provided during the one-year training period. Additional Benefits are Participants will gain exposure to banking operations and receive a certification upon successful completion. Please note: This position does not constitute permanent employment or a contractual agreement.
Selection Process:
The selection procedure is based on merit and consists of several stages:
- Online Examination: An objective test comprising 100 questions worth 100 marks, to be completed in 1 hour, which includes: General/Financial Awareness (25 marks) Quantitative Aptitude (25 marks) Reasoning Ability (25 marks) English Language (25 marks) There is no negative marking. The minimum qualifying score is 40% (35% for candidates from reserved categories).
- Document Verification: Conducted at the BOB Regional/Zonal Office. Local Language Proficiency Test: Assessment of basic reading, writing, and speaking skills in the local language of the state (exempted if the candidate has studied the language in 10th or 12th grade).
- Medical Fitness: A final assessment of health.
- Merit List: Compiled based on examination scores, candidate preferences, and availability. Allotments will be communicated via email.
Application Procedure:
- Pre-Registration: Begin by registering on the NAPS or NATS portal (search for “Bank of Baroda” among the establishments).
- Online Application: Navigate to the official BOB website or the apprenticeship portal. Fill out the Online Application link (which will be emailed within 48 hours of your NAPS/NATS registration).
- Documents Required: You will need to provide a scanned photo, signature, graduation marksheets, ID proof, and a category certificate (if applicable).
- Application Fee (non-refundable, to be paid online through net banking/debit card/credit card/UPI): General/EWS/OBC: ₹800 SC/ST/PwBD: ₹400 (note that SC/ST may be exempted in certain cases, please verify through the notification)
- Submission: Upload the necessary documents, pay the fee, and print the acknowledgment. Initially, no hard copies are required.
