This is an official announcement inviting applications solely from individuals of the Hindu faith for two contractual legal positions within the Endowments Department of the Government of Telangana. These roles are intended to manage the legal cases pertaining to the department.The state government authority responsible for overseeing and safeguarding Hindu religious institutions and charitable endowments in Telangana is tasked with the administration of temples, mathas, and trusts. This body registers and regulates a vast number of Hindu temples, ranging from small local shrines to prominent ones such as Yadagirigutta, Vemulawada, and Bhadrachalam. Additionally, it manages the properties, lands, income, and expenditures associated with these temples.

Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Educational Qualification for both posts LLB or LLM and Must be of Hindu religion. Candidates must have served as a Legal Officer have a minimum of ten years of experience as a practicing advocate in High Court or District Courts. Candidates must have served as a Assistant Legal Officer in a government department or body for at least five years or a minimum of five years of experience as a practicing advocate in District Courts or High Court.
Payscale :
The position of Legal Officer offers a fixed monthly salary of ₹1 Lakh, while the Assistant Legal Officer receives ₹44,000 per month, also on a fixed basis. The remuneration is a consolidated amount, with no additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, medical allowances, Provident Fund, gratuity, or leave encashment specified in the notification. This structure is standard for contractual roles within Telangana government departments. The salary is non-negotiable and provided as a lump-sum payment, with Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) applied according to prevailing regulations.
