LIC AAO Generalist Post Details:
The overall count of vacancies and the reserved positions are tentative and may change based on the actual requirements of LIC. The reservation across different categories will adhere to the current Government guidelines at the time of finalizing the results. No candidate shall possess any entitlement to appointment based on the quantity or distribution of advertised vacancies.
LIC AAO Generalist Eligibility:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a recognized Indian University or Institution.
LIC AAO Generalist Age Limit:
Minimum age requirement: 21 years (individuals born on or after August 2, 1995). Maximum age limit: 30 years (individuals born on or before August 1, 2004)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (General): 10 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years (General), 8 years (OBC), 10 years (SC/ST)
- Confirmed LIC employees: Additional 5 years
LIC AAO Generalist Selection Process:
The recruitment procedure is divided into 3 phases:
Preliminary Examination:Which comprises an objective test, will be administered online. This test will consist of three sections (each with distinct timings). There will be NO negative marking. Candidates must qualify in each section individually.
Main Examination:The main examination will comprise objective tests worth 300 marks and a descriptive test worth 25 marks. Both the objective and descriptive tests will be conducted online. The objective test will feature distinct timing for each section. Candidates will be required to respond to the descriptive test by typing on the computer. The descriptive test will take place immediately following the completion of the objective test. There will be NO negative marking. Candidates must qualify in each section individually.
Interview:Maximum 60 marks. Final merit list determined by Mains + Interview scores. Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination: Candidates are required to be medically fit for appointment.
Application Fee:
- SC/ST/PwBD: ₹85 plus Transaction Charges and GST
- All Others: ₹700 plus Transaction Charges and GST
LIC AAO Generalist Salary:
The basic salary is set at Rs.88635/- per month within the pay scale of Rs. 88635-4385(14)-150025-4750(4)-169025, along with other permissible allowances according to established regulations. The total compensation at the lowest point of the scale, which includes House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, and other applicable allowances based on the city’s classification, is estimated to be around Rs. 1,26,000/- per month in an ‘A’ Class city.

3.Register by providing your name, email address, and mobile number to obtain a provisional registration number and password.
4.Log in and complete the application form with your personal, educational, and other relevant details.
5. Upload the required scanned documents:

6.Pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card or net banking.
7.Submit the application form and print a copy for your records.
Guarantee Bond:
Candidates who are selected are required to serve LIC for a minimum duration of 4 years, which includes the probation period. If this obligation is not fulfilled, a payment of ₹5,00,000 will be required as liquidated damages.
